Friends of Wadsworth Library invites the public to attend its upcoming Annual Meeting and Community Gathering on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Wadsworth Library, 24 Center Street, Geneseo. This year’s event includes both organizational updates and a festive celebration to honor one of the library’s most dedicated supporters.

The evening begins with a Public Meeting at 5:30 PM, open to all community members. At 6:00 PM, Friends will hold its Annual Meeting, which includes the presentation of the Volunteer of the Year Award to Mike DeBramo.

Mike has served as both a trustee and a trusted advisor to the library, generously lending his time, wisdom, and connections to help strengthen Wadsworth Library’s role in the community.

The event is free to attend and includes donuts and cider for guests to enjoy. A musical guest will also perform, with details to be announced soon.

“This evening is not just about reviewing the year—it’s about celebrating the people and partnerships that keep the library thriving,” says Colleen Powers, President of the Friends of Wadsworth Library. “We’re especially excited to recognize Mike’s contributions, and we hope the entire community joins us in saying thank you.”
